Reporting to the Engineering Manager you as a SMT Process Engineer will be responsible to maintain process control in our facility, support material cost reduction programs and Scrap reduction. About the job : Establishes updates and keeps the process specifications, likewise the equipment and machinery parameters, necessary for production. Participates on Solving Problems Teams for quality, productivity, issues, etc. Coordinate as necessary, along with Product Engineering, the implementation of new design changes that may apply to the existing products to improve the quality. Participates on the solution problem analysis and production efficiency, either to equipment or machinery as well as for the raw material, tooling or process itself. Equipment uptime monitoring to identify the top five down time issues to improve equipment performance in a monthly frequency. Along with the Health and Safety Department, identifies the personal protective equipment (PPE) for safety protection in the areas or workstations that apply. Location : Piedras Negras, Coahuila. About you : Bachelor or university degree in Engineering. Industrial Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering or Equivalent. Broad experience in manufacturing processes. Knowledge in PCBA, THT and SMT. Knowledge and proven experience in programming Wave Machine and SMT equipment. Automated terminal insertion machine. Skills to program PLCs. Knowledge to develop PFMEAs. Knowledge to read electrical drawings. Skills to develop CPK studies. Design software, CAD, Solidworks, inventor, Altium. Good verbal and written communication skills English 80%. Five to seven years of experience. Knowledge of engineering practices. Experience with global manufacturing companies preferred. Advanced knowledge in MS Office. Strong analytical skills.
